About Bob’s Automotive

Striving to be the best automotive repair service since 1981

Before Bob’s Automotive, I had the experience of working in a busy, impersonal shop, hoping for the day I could run my own automotive repair business. In 1981, I took the challenge and opened Bob’s Automotive. Here are a few things that make us different from other repair shops.

  1. I want to recognize my customer’s faces and hopefully put the right name with the right face. Over the years, that’s become part of our mission statement.
  2. I never want to be too big or too busy not to take into consideration my customer’s needs. Not just their repair needs, but their life needs as well. We’ve all experienced time restraints, financial difficulties and the unexpected. I want to do whatever I can to make the whole entire repair and service procedure work efficiently, economically and fairly for both of us.
  3. I always want to stay in touch with the fact that my customers need their cars and trucks to care for their family. It needs to operate properly, every day. Break-downs are not an option. When to do a repair often IS an option.

In order to maintain my goals, it’s necessary to hire the right people who will interact with our customers with honesty and respect. I’m proud of our employees’ abilities. Their desire to acquire the ASE Certification and their responsiveness to continuing education in the automotive service and repair industry is something most companies only hope for. I’ve been fortunate in the selection of employees who share the same commitment and vision. Employees like these are rare. That’s why Bob’s Automotive has remained small and personal.
